Who are we?
The PTA is made up of a group of parents who volunteer their time to encourage closer links between home and school. We are best known for our fundraising work, but also provide a useful social function too with our fundraising events which provide an opportunity for parents, staff and pupils to get together.
What does the PTA do?
We meet on a fortnightly basis to organise PTA events that are aimed towards reaching a mutual goal, as voted for by the children: the most recent goal being ‘The Treehouse Project’.
Would you like to be more involved in the PTA?
If you would like to be more involved in the PTA or just help out at events etc, please leave your details with the school office and the staff will pass these onto us. We meet every 2 weeks on a Tuesday morning 9am – 10am in the family room.
Our Next Project
If you have any suggestions of what the next project should be we would love to hear about it. Post any suggestions in the post box in the main entrance marked for the attention of PTA. Any suggestions from the children should be communicated to the school via their school council rep.
Please bear in mind that the next project should be something that will enhance your child’s educational experience.
Previous PTA fundraising projects have included the Greenhouse and Swimming Pool which are invaluable to the Colindale community.
Fundraising events in 2016-17
Some of the events we have organised were the ‘Friendship Disco’ for Anti-Bullying Week, ‘Film Night’ and the ‘International Fair’. The total raised from these events was approx. £4,500 which will be added to the ‘Treehouse Project’ fund.
