Who are we?

The PTA is made up of a group of parents who volunteer their time to encourage closer links between home and school. We are best known for our fundraising work, but also provide a useful social function too. Fundraising events provide an opportunity for parents, staff and pupils to get together. You can see who we are on the back of this newsletter.

What does the PTA do?

We meet on a fortnightly basis to organise PTA events that are aimed towards reaching a mutual goal: the most recent goal being ‘The Greenhouse Project’.

Would you like to be more involved in the PTA?

If you would like to be more involved in the PTA or just help out at events etc., please leave your details with the school office and the staff will pass these onto us. We meet every 2 weeks on a Tuesday morning 9am – 10am in the parents’ room.

Our Next Project

Now that we have achieved our goal of the greenhouse, we are looking for our next project.

If you have any suggestions of what the next project should be, we would love to hear about it. Post any suggestions in the post box in the main entrance marked for the attention of PTA. Any suggestions from the children should be communicated to the school via school council rep.

Please bear in mind that the next project should be something that would enhance your child’s educational experience.

Previous PTA fundraising projects have included the Swimming Pool which is invaluable to the Colindale Community.
