SEN Teaching Asst. – Level 2
Salary Range: £33,129 – £34,104 FTE £26,188 – £26,959 Pro Rata (Grade D)
Position: Part Time, Term Time Only, Permanent
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30 Mon – Fri (includes 30 minute lunch)
Start date : ASAP
An opportunity to work with some amazing children and be part of a fantastic and dedicated team of SEND Teaching Assistants who provide support and learning for pupils with Additional Support Needs, including those with SEN and physical disabilities.
The manual handling and moving of children with physical disabilities is a fundamental part of this position so you will need to be trained in or be willing to be trained in safe manual handling techniques.

Swimming Teacher
Salary Range: FTE £26,789 – £39,450 (UQT Range) Pro rata £10,715 – £15,780
Position: Fixed Term 12-Month maternity contract
Hours: 8 am – 3 pm, 2 days per week (Wed & Fri)
Start date: 4th November 2026
We are looking for a swimming teacher to deliver successful swimming lessons in our school pool, across our three form entry primary school.
Following the ASA or STA Learn to Swim Framework, you will be responsible for the delivery of lessons to pupils in Year 2 to 6.
You will be required to deliver safe, consistent and fun lessons to groups of children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as train our school team for participation in the annual Borough Swimming Gala. Dedicated and energetic, you’ll be an ASA or STA qualified teacher level 2 with National Teaching Plan knowledge, as well as health & safety awareness. It is vital that you are friendly, patient, enthusiastic, and have the ability to motivate pupils and encourage them with praise.
